Step 1.
Look at the slide from behind. you will notice a round plastic piece, the firing pin spring guide.
Step 2.
With a punch push the firing pin spring guide in and carefully push the firing
pin lock plate down about 1 or 2 mm.
Use Caution not to let the spring and Firing pin spring guide fly out.
Step 3.
Push you finger or a punch in the gap. Slide the firing pin lock plate down.
Using your finger or punch push the FPSG in to take up the slack and carefully remove the
locking plate while still keeping the spring compressed.
Step 4.
Now release the tension and remove the Firing Pin Spring Guide, and Firing Pin Spring.
Step 5.
Tip the rear of the slide down towards your hand and remove the Firing Pin Status Indicator.
